Limes! 04:19
We only got one life to live And while I know it’s really nice to sit Kick back, and relax for a bit But as the world turns, it’s seems it’s going to shit So let that be the fertilizer Fertile minds sprout buds behind the synthesizer Drums are like the miracle grow, so here I go Try to stay positive, create ethereal flows They hear it and froze cuz when I’m spiritual yo, It’s something that they never really hear at the shows So I grab the mic and preach carpe diem Every day starts with my heart rate speeding Are we gods or ants Reality is ours, never say that you can’t If you ain’t adding to the fire, you can’t stay at the camp Because it’s lighting all our lives like a halogen lamp So if you’re feeling like it’s dark and it’s damp Sign on the dotted line like your names on a stamp If we do it all together we can be all be the champ And make this timeline sky rocket, like it’s leaving a ramp When life gives you limes? Make tacos! Make tacos! Make, make tacos! Hello new day, prepare to be seized I’m out in nature just to feel a cool breeze Getting my steps in at white clay creek Feels like a dream though I know i ain’t asleep The sun recharged my energy Photosynthetic combatting the lethargy The fires still going, I guess that well let it be Prometheus, wondering what is my destiny To enlighten, so I bring my torch And demand order like I’m running a court Or place an order like I’m hungry for more Solo pollo no red meat anymore, But can I breathe anymore? Going against the current from the seas to the shore I’ll start the day with nothing but I’m leaving with more Lemons or limes, the hand your dealt Leaves it up to you, are you demanding yourself? Reprimanding yourself? Or are you throwing up your hands Asking Christ to take the wheel, knowing damn well he can’t Life is handing out limes, time to make tacos, You don’t like what I’m saying, then throw your tomatoes I don’t care like I’m Fozzy Bear I see it all with my third eye, that’s a godly stare Unless you’re a skeleton and your body’s bare Then we’ve all been there, no time to be scared Life is unfair, I learned that lesson playing games at the fair But I promise you, patience is rare And it’s on you to Jack it up, and do the repairs Rotate the tires, reupholster the chairs And in due time, we’ll all get there

They say that you should dress for the job that you want, not the job you have So I’m rocking superhero shirts writing on this pad Aquatic lad, and I been this way since my undergrad If I wanna be super, then I should rock the S The kryptonian symbol for hope upon my chest Got my specs for when I’m trying to be low key Mild mannered, hope nobody knows me But I’d be like Barry, ready to confide Cuz the apple of my iris is always down to ride Not a doubt in sight, because inside I keep my light The blue lantern of hope is within and shining bright So I think that the time is right, to shed this skin And finally achieve the final from that I’ve invested in Make my escape, while I’m rocking this cape Because I wanna be super, eight levels more than great They say That you should dress for the job that you want, not the job that you have Now daily I plan it, before I hit the daily planet Got my super suit like Samuel L but in control like Janet Why so heavy handed? Cuz I want it understanded No wait that’s understood Plundering for the goods Then I return like red hood And I’m always feeling good A musical Lazarus pit is something that I could Throw together with the right combination of sounds That are adorned to the song like fresh clothes and wow Now, how could I continue on this slowed down pace How im supposed to go to work when I beat Clark in a race? How can I keep it together when I’ve seen Bruce Wayne’s face And try to act normal when I’m up in this place This 9-5 makes no sense at all When all I wanna do is bring justice from the hall Coming to you live and direct from the source wall Found some writing on it, here’s my report y’all If I wanna wear green, it’s Lantern or Arrow Wanna be fly? Then be Hawkman a reborn pharaoh If it’s Red then you know I’m going Flash Blue jeans with the silver winged hat Rock Black, whenever I’m in Gotham Sneaking in the shadows, all the crooks imma stop them If the scheme is red and blue I know what to do The name is Russ El, like the brand new supes

I move independent of the 4th dimension An unrepentant descendant of writing sentences ending in Splendid emphasis and reverence for all the testaments Not a bible defendant, I mean the tenants of sending this To the ears of the ones who can hear And if you like what I’m saying then you can listen right here That’s a homonym I gotta win If the contest is writing, because my prerogative’s To kick it like an Ottoman With the wisdom of Solomon Strength of Hercules and stamina of Atlas Planet on my back, gotta keep it on its axis Auto didactic Intergalactic Attack raps with a syntactic tactic Tic Tac fanatic with fresh rhymes to match it Punchline schematics Polysyllabic mechanic Nomadic, no magic, no panic, no static Shock It ends climactic with a mic drop Well the clock keeps ticking, but imma keep kicking Might of turned 30 but feel like a spring chicken Got good feathers like an animated pigeon Cask of amontillado, wait til I get to brickin The plot thickens, Like a work of fiction I’ve been stricken With a time sickness and it’s hitting Nostalgic chords in my brain of course Telling me to use the force with no remorse Showing me the past as clear as quartz And telling me that I should fear the course That’s it’s taking, no time for waiting You’re racing aging An agent who’s hated as soon as you make it But I heard that the rule is you make it, you take it So I’m guessing that it’s ours for the taking Many hours in the making Feel the power in you shaking And the mold continues breaking Runaway train is never braking Feeling insane, well you’re mistaken Cuz father time is never waiting As time goes by, I ask it to slow down Running for so long, tell me where I should go now The answers aren’t clear, aren’t here, harbored fear In between my ears, We’re all defeated by the years

Music is my favorite form of transformation Wait transportation Like the twister from wizard of oz And like the cow in the twister from twister I’m odd Get delivered from the shivers and blizzard by what I’ve whispered Take you where you wanna go, all things considered Got have a good imagination where I’m taking you for vacation No longer waiting, cuz the time is now See when I’m rhyming loud, I can go anywhere with the clouds No more feeling doubts, no more feeling down and out, pound for pound Around this town, I’m like a travel agent so are you down? Are you ready to roll right now We can touchdown, then like a touchdown all dance around Emerald city after we paint the town Planes, trains and automobiles, Thats how music feels. Engine, engine, nah I’ll just rhyme This time this line is signed like it’s dotted, got it Stop it, the train that I’m on towards the spot that we plotted This sonnet helps to spot it Written in meter the speakers are popping Bass lines the engine that’ll keep this rocking Bass lines the engine that’ll keep us rocking Sign says welcome to your dreams Now listen for the screams, of friends not fiends, you can not forget the R U double S, E double L Well, hell’s bells are ringing, so I’ll go back to singing while the music keeps bringing You to your final destination But not a drawn out death, just a soul gas station I Excel in irrelevant telling of tales Propeller and sails A hell of a fella when hella details Embellish themselves Using my cells to loosen the wells Including the bells, and now I’m losing myself That’s the point let the music take ya I’m a music maker, with no rude behavior Move the faders, who’ll save ya If you don’t stay afloat, well the moods a favor Like a bag that you take from the party A parting gift that’s for you and partly For every soul on the globe that is whole cuz you’re gonna feel better when you really let go Music has a way of possessing your essence, removing your stressing, no time for contesting This isn’t a lesson it’s just a suggestion to open your ears and relax for a second

There’s a vicious vanguard of vampires That’s vying for many ventricle veins, I watch as it transpires I’m required as one of the last survivors To conspire to make funeral pyres out of all of these liars Evil friars, missionaries on a mission of transmission Make them seem like a necessary evil, I listen And lay back, pretend that I’m on the take While constantly watching for mistakes and sharpening my stake It takes a village to defeat the count, we must combine in great amounts and force em out into the streets while the sun is out Better grab your sunscreen SPF 23 That might save us from sunburn but we’ll hear the vamp tramps scream The damp dim-lamped scene seemed a little obscene until the twilight gleamed and the sun rays streamed Leaving market street in need of a street sweep Now I need sleep, and I can finally have sweet dreams

POP 04:30
I speak in streams of thought Sleep to dream for naught Heavy weighs the head because sleep I’ve rarely caught Toss and turn thinking bout the lessons that’s I’ve learned Handed down from my pop, now that the hourglass has been turned It’s weird knowing that the end is near So when I shed a tear, it’s for something that isn’t quite here He might hear, the words when I’ve tried To speak to him, he had the energy for three high fives Can barely open up his eyes, but I’ll remember good times lol Shots of Sambuca, and some less than good wine Holidays always were the most important Get the whole family together and revel in enjoyment But this year the cheer is few and far between As the dining room table has two empty seats Bug and El, I wish you well, I know a reunion Is long overdue, cuz you were such super humans Of course I’ve always been obsessed with super heroes, But the first bad ass I knew, must be DeNiro I recall watching Goodfellas, never heed my mothers call While my dad was asking when we could watch some football Pop laughed and explained what was happening Henry Hill wanted to be made, I started laughing when He told joe Pesci that he thought that he was funny A scene that I act out when chances come to me Like a cclown sent to amuse, so we were never bored I’ll never forget when he met Kathy Orr at the Shore Saying that he would flip when he met her and he did But not flip like getting pissed, but it was like he was in split Cuz when He saw her, he said how much he loved her on the tv As his grandkids were stunned, we snapped a picture of the scene Then hit up Mack’s pizza for the greasiest slice Back in the days when he used to walk the boards twice My pop closed more bars than prison guards Him and the Lindanator always made me feel like a Star And that’s not only in his prime, he was 79 But made it a point to never miss a show of mine Roll the dice, he would advise, while he’s betting the pass line As I sound asinine, and then I roll my number 9, So he tells me to keep rolling, and that’s what I’m gonna do Roll over to the windows to see what the horses do He always some a tip or some numbers I should pick Like my first Vegas trip, my first betting was a trip He said put $10 on 14, and put 10 on red My mother’s sick telling me not to abide by what he said But I defied and did it anyway, and my livins what a pay day Called him right away and he said that it made his day So I’m yelling at the top of my lungs, hoping you hear me It’s totally okay to go, but we’ll miss you dearly All of your brothers and sisters are there with grandmom And they got scotch and water and then some Of anything you want, all you have to do is ask I’ll always love you pop, writing this was no task

I move through doom and mild gloom Immune to the fumes like a Vileplume My smiles a loon meets a violent Looney Toon Hit the ACME corporation for some bombs that go BOOM So i can catch that road runner, chilling on a grassy knoll like a lone gunner slamming beats like a Stone Cold stunner But I'm landing on my feet if i plunge like a plumber Followed by a giant boulder, holding a sign that says bummer If i think I'm being smart, my fate just gets dumber Painting tunnels on rocks does not work me But that bird will flee like an emergency, have you heard it's me? The valedictorian of boring hordes into snoring from my lack of deorum And performing like my thoughts are so important Pretend it's an open forum, But when you start talking, you know i begin scoring My ears don't work cuz my mouth is working double time Double trouble from my subtle lack of foresight I'm Captain Hindsight, funny, cuz its 2020 And i'm the only non dummy. You post an article without fact-checking? I'll call you out without thinking for a second Unless the article aligns with my narrative To be fair if it's sharing then I am caring. Kids need to hear what i have to say before they're cast away And passed for the newest undying craze. I'm the smart guy, TJ Mowry The world should thank me, you're welcome like Maui How could we doubt he? We steeped in lowry's Salty and grouchy, y'all can't live without me My voice can get the loudest so how can you doubt me? And if you disagree with me you know I'm getting rowdy I'll never be the smartest person in the room Assuming that is true would assure my certain doom. I've never been the smartest person in the room, Assuming that is true would ensure my certain doom I'm chilling here with my ears open wide Hoping I've arrived for smoking time Then spoken lines get toked like we're stoking fires Keeping the hope alive, that people can open minds Cuz when they're closed off, they get so lost Prone to floss their own loss, just to get a point across But i prefer to start with clean slates A conversation is easy, really all that it takes Is common courtesy, respect their point of view If you're so certain you have the truth, but lack in proof It's possible that someone else can offer you A new way of thinking, more than you can be true Can you tell me what's wrong with being wrong? Do i seem less strong if i admit it in a song? Who really cares, my perception is clear, I'm all good even if i'm not the smartest person here But you've been fighting that for fifteen years Oops you did it again, like Britney Spears I'm done arguing and taking stands, Cuz the fights that you plan work just like quicksand The more you fight, the more that you're drawn in Spawning yawning while a new day's dawning. Rain falls down on to the awning And your argument lingers like a ghost that's haunting Who ya gonna call? This job seems daunting Proving you wrong but I'm never flaunting My own thoughts but with you it all seems for naught No interest in other sides, even if it's hard fought You tap the podium with the force of a Kryptonian But i'm the red son, i'll cut you short like Napoleon No need for yelling trying to trigger pandemonium To smart for your own good like the ancient Babylonians

The Bark 02:23
Sweating from the heatwave like Mick Rory I’m bout to recount to y’all a sick story That’s about selling souls Is it really worth it for a record to go gold? And then the thing that you love Leaving you in need of tlc like a scrub Rub a dub dub Never really clean your hands of the blood Thinking you should only be judged from above But that judge, is a little more tough than Judy, Truly You better play D like Schoolly Left wondering Gee like Spoonie Now the record labels wanna sue me Exposing the Faustian motive is unruly As long as the music is moving And keeps the large crowds unaware and grooving Now you’re getting it, gotta keep em dancing Keep em with a drink in their hand, Ted Danson Cheers to Tears for Fears but I don’t wanna rule the world I wouldn’t have time to do nothing with my girl I’d always feel the pressure of trying to write a hit But now I just chill and I get in where I fit Bit you can count the steps but you’ll prolly never get it Walking a mile in my wallabies would be some sick shit Cuz I ain’t taking off my Clark’s Not a soul could change my soul, increase the dark Because I let the light shine from the very start And I ain’t trying to make a buck, I’m just trying to make art Following the beat of my heart Retrieving my spark from the deepest dark parts I’m just a jack avoiding the card sharks You’re a dog known for biting but I’m known for the bark

The high school I went to wasn’t Riverdale More boring, went to class and didn’t fail Never in a situation where I needed bail But more than once needed rescuers like Chip and Dale A lil punk, with cheeks like a chipmunk Unsure if i was ready to step up and get punked Fairly certain that sports wasn’t working Couldn’t stand math, but when i first saw the curtain Bright red like right said Fred, flashy Life said that I found my passion Not just on stage, but the music classes Had me seeing things like I just got glasses 20/20 the songs they would come to me But singing the poetry that I wrote just felt crummy I found rap, my world split in half The lyrical debate up in my brain got passed Left and right like watching pong on Atari I struggled to stay focused for that I’m sorry But really not, cuz you know how my mind works I’d imagine, if you’re reading the lines from in my verse
