lyrics

How can I move the crowd
First of all no mistakes allowed
Even when it’s loud
And when you’re in a strange town
If you’re ever up on stage be prepared to put it down
And when it’s down keep it there
As long as possible, to get em up outta their chairs
Feet clamor on the stairs just to stare
And be amazed by the bands flare
But we’re just 4 dudes tipsy, playing for tips see
So drop whatever in this bucket for some tricky
Rhymed lines on time, but time must be learned
Here are some basic instructions before leaving earth
Killah Priest, kill a verse
I’m trying to rhyme like Masta Killas first
Which means I’m putting in the work
I’ll stay up all night to write
Long as my baby’s alright
That’s my baby from my baby so I’m saying it twice
I know it’s crazy, so crazy that I’m playing tonight
The Lindanator’s got it on lock, so we’re good til midnight
Cuz with age, the thing I find the most strange
Is we still our parents permission for us to rage

Every microphone could eventually explode
Feel calmer than the unibomber when I’m in the zone
Studio set up in my home
So if you wonder what the bass meant, that’s the rabbit hole
With the band, or with my guitar all alone
I’m prone to let it flow and I’ve shown from show to show
That I can really go
So if you’re thinking it’s no, that’s really none of my business though
Cuz I do it the way that I like
And the way that I write
The stream of consciousness is finding honestness while looking for the light
And also finding detours along the way is pretty tight
So while the light lights the white rhino type in the pipe
I’m thinking that tonight is probably turning out alright
